DO YOU HAVE PLANNING FORMS?

Yes we do! Our planning forms are super beneficial. They include all of these options and many more…

  • Dynamic Availability Checker (check to see if your day is available)
  • Music Search & Request System (select specific songs that must be played and songs not to be played during your event)
  • Custom Event Planning Forms (set your event schedule down to the minute if you would like, include times, songs, DJ actions, announcements, and more for your event)
  • Password-Protected Client Area (only you and our staff can see your planning forms)
  • Contact Form (send a message to us anytime and we will contact you as soon as we possibly can)

These planning forms are ideal when organizing your event. You plan the entire flow of your event, they are simple to understand and very user friendly. You even have the capability of printing our forms out so you can give copies to as many people as you want so everyone will be on the same page.

DO YOU CHARGE A SET-UP AND TEAR-DOWN FEE?

Our Package Prices include set-up and tear-down fees. We do not charge ANY extra fees to set-up and tear-down. The package price that we quote you is your entire total with zero hidden fees.

DO YOU CHARGE A TRAVEL FEE?

No, if we feel that the event is beyond what we feel comfortable traveling we will most likely refer another company more suited to your area. If you still would like us to be a part of your event, there may be a small charge for travel.

DJ SERVICES

HOW MUCH TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE WILL OUR DJ HAVE?

We only hire people that have a passion for what they do and who also love helping people. All of our DJ’s have multiple years of experience in the field (at least 5 years) and they are trained on the newest and best equipment possible. Guardian Media also has moral and ethical standards that each representative must exceed in order to work for the company.

DO YOU SPECIALIZE IN A CERTAIN TYPE OF MUSIC?

We specialize in playing all kinds of different music and mixing it up for the all of your guests. We always try to stay ahead of the music trends and keep up with the Billboard Top 100 at all times. Our DJ’s are known for keeping the dance floor packed all night. But, please let us know if you want only a particular genre and we will cater to your event as much as we can.

DO YOU TAKE REQUESTS?

Yes. We try to take text requests for the most part. We will give your guests a phone number to text in order to send a request to us. If you purchase the video or deluxe packages you will have the option for your guests to be able to text to a screen their own messages and requests. For those guests that do not have cell phones we still take requests the old fashioned way at the booth, but, we do try to steer away from that if at all possible. These requests are harder to keep track of. We try to play as many requests as possible. Sometimes we are unable to play all requests because of time restraints. We also will play the cleanest version available and we will not play any song that we feel like is too mature or vulgar for the audience. Sometimes we receive a request that we feel might not fit the genre that we are playing or the song might not fit into the night.

DO YOU BRING BACK UP EQUIPMENT?

We always bring back up equipment. We come prepared to every event thinking of the possibility that something could malfunction.  We always bring working and top of the line equipment to all events.

IF I BOOK YOU FOR MY WEDDING, CAN YOU ALSO PLAY MUSIC FOR THE CEREMONY?

We have done many weddings and love the opportunity to be such a big part of your wedding day! We typically charge for an extra sound system that we need to bring and set up and then we charge for the hours that we will be there as well. We charge for the hours at the ceremony, between the ceremony and reception, and for the reception at $75/hour. *Inquire for more details. 

WHAT IF I WANT A COCKTAIL HOUR OR TWO?

That is perfect! Just let us know when and where the cocktail hour will be located. If it is in a separate room we would just charge for the extra sound system. If it is in the room where the sound system is located then we would just charge hourly.

DO THE DJ’S REQUIRE FOOD AND DRINKS?

Typically, if the event is over 4 hours we do request that you provide a meal for your DJs. We do not accept any alcoholic drinks at your event, but, drinks would be appreciated as well.

PHOTO BOOTHS

DO THE PHOTOS PRINT OUT ON SITE?

Yes! Our photo strips are 2x4 inches and guests will get 2 strips with each visit to the booth. Extra copies of strips and 4x6 inch prints will also be an option that your guests will be able to select free of charge. 

WILL I BE ABLE TO SEE ALL OF THE PICTURES OR KEEP THEM?

This is available as an add-on. We will put all the pictures on a jump drive for you to enjoy forever and print more copies of on your own for a small fee. You may also ask your guests to leave a strip for you to put in a memory book which is also available as an add-on.

CAN I CUSTOMIZE THE STRIP FOR MY EVENT?

Of course you can! You can create this yourself or you can have one of our qualified designers make something original for you. This is an optional add-on.

WHAT IS THE QUALITY OF THE PRINTS?

When we were deciding what booth we needed to purchase we looked at so many samples that any normal person might have gone crazy! But, we aren’t normal. We love to provide the best quality for our clients possible. You can see the quality of the booth and the prints on our Photo Booth tab.

UP LIGHTING

I am interested in uplighting, what does it do exactly? 

Uplighting changes atmospheres. If you have a boring or plain room, uplighting can take it from drab to fab in minutes. We really think it adds a bit of elegance to an event. We have a variety of different colors to choose from. We also have a general guide on our blog www.gmediaevents.com/blog, and we also can send you a guide about how many you would need in your space. 

What if I just want to add a few for highlighting spots and not color the whole room? 

We can do that too! Our uplighting can highlight areas or wash the entire space with color. Typically the more lights that you have, the more brilliant the color will be. 

MONOGRAMS

I would like to have a monogram on my dance floor, do you guys do that? 

We most certainly do! We have a few different options for you to chose from. You can either design it yourself and send it to us. We will give you information on as to how to do that. Or you can have our designers custom make one for you. Either way, these add a bit of personalization to your space.
